SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting / Grand Re-opening: Santos Coffee
DESCRIPTION:Ribbon Cutting: Santos Coffee Gardendale The Gardendale Chamber of Commerce invites you to celebrate the Grand Reopening of Santos Coffee with an official Chamber Ribbon Cutting and formal welcome to the Gardendale Chamber of Commerce family. Santos Coffee is not just a coffee shop. It is a five-generation family story that began in the volcanic highlands of Guatemala in 1895 and found its way to the heart of Gardendale\, Alabama. Sisters Wendy and Katie grew up on their family's coffee farms\, learning to plant\, harvest\, roast\, grind\, and enjoy some of the world's finest specialty coffee before they were teenagers. Inspired by handwritten letters they discovered from their grandmothers Marta and Piedad two of Guatemala's first female coffee farm owners they made a decision: letting go of the land was never an option. Santos Coffee was born to carry that legacy forward. What makes Santos Coffee truly extraordinary is their crop-to-cup commitment. The beans are grown on their own family farms in Guatemala\, exported directly to Birmingham\, and roasted in-house with precision before they ever reach your cup. Every sip carries with it more than a century of sacrifice\, love\, and dedication to the land. And the Gardendale location is a destination in its own right. A stunning custom mural by celebrated Guatemalan muralist Nathan Ard n graces the walls\, depicting the quetzal\, Guatemala's national bird and the symbol at the heart of the Santos Coffee story. Come out and celebrate. Bring your family. Enjoy an exceptional cup of coffee and welcome one of Alabama's most unique and beautifully storied businesses to the Gardendale Chamber community. \n📍 Location: Gardendale\, AL 📅 Date and Time: October 30th 12 PM 🌐 santoscoffee.com \nFree and open to the public. All are welcome.
